We are winding down our Disney Give a Day Get a Day projects. Thanks to everyone who helped! So what's the next step? Consider becoming a Project Leader! Project Leader Training: What is a project leader? Project Leaders work in conjunction our United Way Volunteer Center to regularly manage volunteer projects. Project Leaders receive specialized training and help to serve as the “eyes and ears” of the affiliates at each project, acting as a liaison between the affiliate, volunteers, and the organization where the volunteer project occurs. The United Way Volunteer Center will be hosting free, monthly Project Leader trainings to develop and engage a new team of volunteer ambassadors in our community. The schedule is as follows: (July-Dec to be determined)
